Avni Mehmeti

Avni Mehmeti, graduated in 2004 at the Faculty of Law at the University of Prishtina. He passed the bar exam in 2006, while he attended his professional practice in the District Court in Mitrovicë from 2005 to 2006. In 2006 until 2008 he worked as a legal officer and trainer at the Kosovo Center for Public Safety Education and Development. In 2010 he worked as a Legal Officer (Lawyer) at ProCredit Bank in Mitrovicë, while from 2011 to 2012 he worked at initial program for legal education at the Kosovo Judicial Institute. On July 31, 2012 he was appointed a judge in the Municipal Court in Mitrovicë, while since 2015 he has been working as a judge in the Serious Crimes Department of the Basic Court in Mitrovicë. On February 7, 2020, he was elected a member of the Kosovo Judicial Council from among the judges. He is a trainer in: Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Kosovo Judicial Institute Kosovo Prosecutors and Judges Forum
